Ehh, the art is lazy but I wanted to share my feelings about the differences between the 3 sims games IMO. Not talking about graphical methods. No, I wanted to point out the difference that seperates sims 1 from the others.

I think that Sims 1 was more "blunt" than the other 2. Exsample:
In sims 1 you can't make 2 people sleep next to each other even though you make them in the family generator together.
You have to increase their relationship first.
Point me if I'm wrong.

I think Sims 1 was targeted to older audiences instead of all.
Actually it is scary sorta.. Specially those musics and themes they had in. I loved the building and loading themes.

This comic I scribbled is about the "burgular theme" that you hear when there is either skunk, burgular or you get fired through a phone. It used to scare me so much that I actually turned the game off for a while

it might seem like it's not that big deal,not for you. Show it to someone young or scaredy person, they will not like it

I don't hate the game, I still love it. I used to play it alot, and it was my first pc game I ever bought myself.

Have to agree fully, playing the game by myself...encountered the theme for the first time......sadly I never played it since. I di try playing sims 2 with my sis 2 years ago...but weird things happen. First a fire, then a burglar then someone died then their ghost kept haunting us. Again I stopped playing

I remember the burglar theme! xD
It used to scare me so much when I was little...
I remember a time when I was playing Sims 1 in the basement, all alone. I think I was 10 xD And the burglar music started to play and I was so scared, and then my mom ran down the basement stairs to the bathroom and scared the living crap out of me! I literally fell out of the computer chair and crawled to the other side of the room and screaming xD

Ahhh... Sims create such great memories :3

Good God... I remember how scary that damn music was... The Sims 2 Burglar music wasn't too bad but.. O_O

The fire music was also pretty frightening too. I can guarantee you that a fire in real life wouldn't be as scary, lol.

Yeah! I also jumped when one of the Sim's food or rugs caught on fire and one of them died.
